About the estimate

What is Storage ETA?

Storage ETA turns the storage you have, the storage you use today, and your average monthly growth into a simple runway. It helps you decide when to clean up, upgrade a drive, or move to a larger cloud plan before space becomes urgent.

01

Start with three numbers

Enter total capacity, used storage, and the amount your used storage normally grows each month. GB and TB can be mixed.

02

We calculate your runway

Remaining space is divided by monthly growth. That gives an estimated number of months left and an approximate full date.

03

Plan beyond the warning

The 1-, 2-, and 3-year rows project the same growth rate forward so you can compare likely needs with common storage sizes.

Monthly growth, made practical

Not sure what to enter?

Compare used storage today with roughly one month ago. If it grew from 186 GB to 198 GB, your working rate is about 12 GB/month. Avoid using a month dominated by a one-time cleanup or unusually large install when you want a representative estimate.

Worth knowing

How accurate is the full date?

It is as good as your growth estimate. If your storage use is fairly steady, it is useful for planning. If it jumps around a lot, treat the result as a rough runway.

Can I mix GB and TB?

Yes. Choose the unit beside each field. Phones, drives, and cloud plans all work.

Do you save my storage information?

No. The calculation happens in your browser. This tool does not send or save the numbers you enter.

What does “growth per month” mean?

It is the average amount your used storage increases in a month. A simple estimate is today's used storage minus what you were using about one month ago.

What if my storage use changes a lot?

Use a representative monthly average and treat the result as a planning range. Large installs, backups, photo imports, or cleanups can move the full date substantially.
